Cleveland HB SOFT 2 Putter – Model 1

Chrome is the original finish for Cleveland's HB SOFT 2 range and Model 1 is its plainest blade. Plumber's neck, moderate toe hang, cast 304 stainless with no face insert, and a pistol grip. Two lengths, both hands.

Bright finishes have gone somewhat out of fashion in putters, which is a shame because a chrome topline reads clearly against almost any turf colour you set it down on. Whether that helps or distracts is personal. What matters mechanically is the hang, and moderate fits the arcing stroke that most golfers arrive at without ever being taught one. There is a black version of the same club if a darker head appeals. Nothing else changes between them.
