S is Cleveland's shorthand for a slant neck, and on the Model 11 mallet it converts a face-balanced head into one with moderate toe hang. That single change is all that divides it from the two 11 variants beside it. Cast 304 stainless with no insert, black, at 34 and 35 inches in right hand only.

Slant necks sit somewhere between a plumber's and a flow neck in look, tucking the hosel closer to the head without hiding it entirely the way a flow neck does. What matters more is the hang they produce, which here suits a stroke that opens and closes. A pistol grip comes standard rather than the oversize fitted to the face-balanced models.
