Cleveland HB SOFT 2 Black Putter – Model 1

Model 1 is the Anser-shaped blade at the bottom of Cleveland's numbering, and the black finish is the 2024 addition to a range that had run in chrome. A plumber's neck gives moderate toe hang, which is the traditional blade setup and suits a stroke that rotates. There's no face insert, so the ball meets bare 304 stainless. Two lengths, both hands, under a pistol grip.

Cleveland numbers these by head and letters the neck, which makes the range easy to read once you know the code. Model 1 is the smallest head with the most conventional hosel. Anyone stepping into this family from an unbranded putter will find it the least surprising thing in it. The chrome version differs only in finish.
