About this club

Three lofts, two grinds, one finish: the women's Opus is the tightly edited version of Callaway's 2024 Opus wedge. It comes in 52, 56 and 60 degrees, each available in the S Grind and the wider-soled W Grind, and the head is cast with chrome the only finish offered.

Everything is graphite and wedge flex, under a 44 gram Lamkin ST Soft Undersized grip, so the build sits naturally at the bottom of a women's graphite iron set. The three-loft menu reads as a gap wedge, a sand wedge and a lob wedge, which for most bags is exactly the set, and the choice between S and W on the 56 and 60 is the real fitting question. Play the W if the sand is soft and the swing is steep; the S if the ground is firm and you sweep the ball. The men's Opus adds the 48 and 50 degree heads, more grinds and a black finish if the fuller menu appeals.
