Callaway Apex UW 2026 Fairway Wood

Callaway's second Apex UW keeps the utility-wood idea and changes the roof. A triaxial carbon crown replaces the steel of the 2024 club, which frees weight to be moved elsewhere in the head, and the face is still maraging steel. Four lofts now, 17, 19, 21 and a new 23 degree head, all on bonded hosels with fixed weighting. It's still a club you get fitted into once and then leave alone.

The stock shaft is Mitsubishi's Tensei AV Blue 75, regular, stiff or X-stiff, with a Tour Velvet 360 grip. Left-handed golfers get the 19 and 21 degree heads. The choice against the earlier UW comes down to crown material and loft: carbon and a 23 degree option here, steel and three lofts there. For anyone who needs one club to cover the gap between a 3-wood and the longest iron, the 2026 UW is the more complete answer.
