New for 2026, the BB49 brings a slant neck to a mallet, a pairing Bettinardi has not leaned on much in this family. The slant produces a third of toe hang, which is enough face rotation for a mild arc without the half hang the blades carry. Head weight matches those blades at 355 grams, so anyone moving across from a BB1 will not find the feel unfamiliar.

Milled stainless, with the face treatment and Savannah Blue colouring used right across 2026. Fitting is a length and grip exercise. If mallet stability appeals but your stroke has never got along with a face balanced head, the BB49 is the shape that meets you in the middle, and there is not much else in the range that does.
