About this club

Slotback was the structural idea Bettinardi built the 2024 BB28 around, a channel cut through the rear of the body. On this version a spud neck holds toe hang to an eighth, which is about as close to face balanced as a blade gets without going to a centre shaft. The hands sit slightly ahead thanks to a three quarter shaft offset, and the head weighs 352 grams.

Stroke type matters more than anything else in choosing between the three Slotback builds. This is the middle one, the conventional heel shafted option, and it suits a stroke with only the faintest arc in it. Perpetual Fly milling on a Black Pearl PVD finish dates it to 2024, and it was milled from billet like every Bettinardi head.
