Older BB1 heads are easy to date by their finish, and Graphite Gray PVD marks this one as the 2022 version. It weighs 350 grams and hangs at a half behind a plumber's neck, which is the same middle of the road arc profile the model has carried for years. Aggressive Flymill is the face cut, a deeper and more visible pattern than the milling Bettinardi moved to later.

Left handed builds were made alongside the right. The BB1 has changed less across generations than almost anything else in the catalogue, so the differences from the 2024 and 2026 heads come down to a couple of grams, the face pattern and the colour. Anyone chasing this shape on the used market can shop across all three years without much risk.
