Wilson Infinite The L Putter

The L is Chicago's elevated railway and the putter carrying the name is a mallet with a short slant neck. That combination produces moderate toe hang, which is more rotation than most mallets in this line ask for. Two lengths, black, right hand only, on the cast stainless head and Weili shaft that run through the whole range.

Mallets with real hang are less common than they should be, because the easy engineering answer for a large head is to balance it and leave the golfer to adapt. Wilson offering a short slant here means an arcing stroke gets the stability of a mallet without having to fight the geometry every time. It's a useful club. The Buckingham is the other short-slant mallet in this line and there's less hang on it if moderate turns out to be too much.
