Wilson Infinite South Side Putter

South Side is the only centre-shafted putter in Wilson's Infinite range, with the shaft entering the middle of a mid-mallet head rather than the heel. Putting the shaft there is the simplest way to reach face-balanced geometry, since there's nothing out at the heel to pull the face around. Two lengths, black, right hand only.

Centre shafts split opinion at address more than any other hosel does. The shaft cuts the head in half and the offset most golfers are used to seeing disappears entirely, so it either reads as clean and symmetrical or it doesn't. Nobody is neutral on it. Wilson naming a putter after the South Side of its own city is in keeping with a line that draws every model name from Chicago.
