About this club

Draw bias runs through the whole Max D family and the women's fairway is no exception, carrying a shut face on every one of its five heads. Lofts go 16, 20, 23, 25 and 27 degrees. The strongest three come in at 145cc, the last two at 140cc, and not one of them adjusts. Simplicity is the trade for tuning, and that is a fair bargain on a club most people set once and then never think about again.

Past 23 degrees this range begins to overlap with hybrid territory, and that is intentional; the shallower fairway profile suits players who sweep the ball off the turf rather than hitting down on it. Ladies flex Ascent and a slimmer Lamkin Z5 make up the stock specification. Lefties get the strongest three.
