Tour Edge calls the HL-04 a mid tech mallet, a phrase it uses nowhere else, and what that describes is a mallet with more shaping and alignment work than the HL-03 but less bulk than the full bodied models above it. Plumber neck, moderate hang, slight arc. The formula is familiar by this point in the range.

Precision CNC milling covers the face and the midsize paddle grip goes on top, both shared with every other model here. Sizing covers 33, 34 and 35 inches, one more option than the HL-03 and HL-05 offer. The finish is silver and the headcover synthetic leather. There is no left handed option, which is true of five of the six.
