About this club

The slot between a five wood and a four iron is where this one lives, and it fills it with an iron shape instead of a wood. A beta titanium L cup face is bonded to a 431 stainless body by Combo Brazing, which fuses the two thermally with no weld line between them. The body behind it is hollow. Weight saved at the face moves out to the perimeter and down, and that is what lets a head this compact stay stable.

Three lofts are built at 17, 19 and 22 degrees, in silver chrome or black pearl, on Ventus Red or Blue shafts running regular through to extra stiff. Right handed only. Golfers who want a higher, softer landing from this part of the bag should weigh it against the Max hybrid, which does a similar job with more forgiveness and less control.
