Tommy Armour's Women's TA1 Hybrid is the rescue club of its line, built on a maraging steel face set into a multi-material head. That alloy can be run thin, and thin is what preserves speed on strikes taken low on the face or out of rough, which is most of what a hybrid gets asked to do in a real round.

Its UST Mamiya Recoil ES Hybrid shaft comes in Ladies flex beneath Lamkin's UTx grip. Flex is the whole point. Should distance be the gap, its Women's TA1 Fairway Wood stablemate uses that face in a longer club, while Women's TA1 Hybrid/Irons carry the same shaft thinking through an entire set. Choose this if your long irons never quite work.
