About this club

The face insert is forged where the rest of the head is not, which is the compromise a utility iron has to make: a multi-material body for the internal weighting, and a forged steel striking surface for the feel. Four lofts run 16, 18, 20 and 22 degrees, in a players profile.

Three shafts are stocked and all three are graphite hybrid builds, Project X's HZRDUS Black 5G HY alongside Graphite Design's Tour AD DI and VF, in regular, stiff or X-stiff. No steel is offered. That 16 degree head is the reason most U505s get bought, replacing a 3-wood off the tee on holes where width is the problem.
