About this club

Launch Spec is Titleist's answer for golfers who need height, and the numbers are dramatic. The 7-iron is 35 degrees against the standard T250's 30.5, which is four and a half degrees of extra loft in the same head. Shafts change too: Nippon's N.S. Pro 750GH NEO in steel and Mitsubishi's MMT AMC Red in graphite, both lighter than the standard build, in senior, regular or stiff. The set is a six club 5-PW in either hand.

Weak lofts and light shafts sound like a retreat and they aren't. Golfers who can't get a 30 degree 7-iron airborne are losing far more yardage to a flat trajectory than they would ever gain from a strong loft. Landing angle is what stops the ball. This set is built to produce one.
