Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Style Squareback 2 Putter

Squareback does what the name says, giving the mid-mallet a straight back edge to aim with rather than a rounded one. The 2 is the plumber's neck version, so toe hang is moderate and the head is meant to rotate. Milled 303 stainless with a Studio Carbon Steel insert, satin, right hand only, three lengths.

Aiming aids on putters are mostly lines and dots, and a genuinely square back edge does the same job more subtly. It gives the eye a reference that runs perpendicular to the target line without printing an alignment line on the head or asking the golfer to trust a dot. The plain Squareback sits alongside with a single bend and slight hang. A 38 inch Long Design exists too.
