About this club

Light components do the heavy lifting on this one. A Speeder NX TCS 40 shaft, then 40 grams of Lamkin ST Soft at the top, hold assembled weight down, which is what lets a moderate swing deliver a 460cc head instead of dragging it. Above them sits the family's carbon face and carbon crown over a titanium frame.

Loft is a choice of two, 10.5 or 12 degrees, both right-handed, and the shaft comes in ladies flex only. Adjustment is limited to the hosel, where the 4 degree sleeve is worth using, since launch is the whole reason a golfer picks a head shaped like this. Rear weighting stays where TaylorMade put it. Anyone whose current driver feels like an effort to swing should start here.
