About this club

Half degrees run all the way through this range: 16.5, 19.5, 22.5 and then a 24 to finish. Four heads inside eight degrees is close spacing for a fairway line, which means the gaps between them are small enough to matter on a long approach. Lengths step down neatly, 42 inches at the top and 40 at the bottom, every build at C5, every build right handed.

One shaft covers the lot, TaylorMade's Tuned Performance 45, ladies flex, just under 60 grams, with a Comfort Plus version of Lamkin's Dual Feel grip weighing 43. Its face is deeper than most, the crown carbon, and there's no sleeve or movable weight to think about. Light, high launching and simple to fit. Carry two or three of them and the long irons stop earning their place.
