TaylorMade M6 D-Type Driver

A 45 gram shaft is unusual on a men's driver. The Project X EvenFlow Max Carry that comes stock here builds out between 51 and 53 grams depending on flex, with a soft 5.6 torque, and the name says plainly what it was made to do. Put that together with draw bias set permanently into a 460cc head of carbon crown, full carbon sole and titanium body, and the target golfer is obvious.

The flex ladder tops out at stiff, running down through regular to senior, with no X anywhere on it. Loft starts at 9 degrees, steps to 10.5, and finishes with a 12 built for right-handers. Nothing on the sole adjusts, so the hosel does all the fitting work, and a Lamkin Dual Feel in black and blood orange, 47 grams, tops the club. A golfer who already draws the ball wants the standard M6.
