About this club

Roughly fifteen yards of draw separates the D-Type from the standard M6 fairway, and none of it comes from a setting you choose. The heel bias is cast in and permanent. Lofts belong to the same recipe, a degree weaker at every rung than their standard equivalents, so the 3 comes in at 16 degrees, the 5 at 19, the 7 at 22. Everything leaves the face higher before the bias does anything.

Shafting makes the same argument. EvenFlow Max Carry 50 from Project X is the sole option, around 55 grams in stiff and lighter through regular and senior, with no X flex on the list, the grip a black and blood orange Dual Feel from Lamkin. A deep face and a carbon crown finish the head, and nothing about it is adjustable, which suits a club built to do one job. Only the 7 wood misses out on a left handed build. The standard M6 is the better home for anyone who already shapes it both ways.
