At that size the TAIII 3D comes in under the 460cc ceiling most drivers sit at, and the loft card follows the same thinking, opening at 8 degrees and topping out at 10.5. Multi-material construction and a 6-4 Beta Ti face keep the spec sheet current in a compact shape.

Both the hosel and the sole weight adjust, which is worth more on a head this size than on a big one, because there's less margin to fall back on when the flight comes out wrong. For shafts, LA Golf's A-Series and Project X's Denali are the two stock options, in regular, stiff or X-stiff, with a Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 on top. No ladies or senior flex. Anyone shopping a compact, low-lofted head should have it on the list, and left-handers are included, which isn't always true at this end of the market.
