About this club

Forty-eight inches makes the 010B a broomstick, and Sub 70 builds it on the same 010 mallet head as the conventional models. A JumboMax two-piece split grip goes on the butt, and the shaft is chosen at order in either steel or graphite rather than fixed. Milled 1045 carbon steel, black, right hand only.

Face-balanced geometry is close to compulsory at this length, since a long putter is difficult enough to aim without the head wanting to rotate as well. What the length buys is a top hand held steady near the chest and a stroke driven almost entirely from the shoulders. Anchoring is no longer legal, but the mechanics still help. Try one before ordering.
