About this club

Double bend is the conventional way into Sub 70's largest mallet, and it leaves the 010 face balanced for a stroke with no rotation. The offset choice applies here as elsewhere, so a buyer picks between a double bend with offset and a single bend without. Milled 1045 carbon steel, black. One length, both hands.

This head has more variants than anything else Sub 70 makes. A centre-shafted version reaches the same balance, a 010P adds a plumber's neck with moderate hang, a 010S takes a slant neck, and a 010B stretches to 48 inches. That is a full fitting matrix from one shape. Most brands would sell it as five separate models with five different names.
