Mini shrinks the Sycamore 009 without changing a single thing about the way it behaves through the ball. Face-balanced geometry, a double bend shaft with the usual offset choice, milled 1045 carbon steel, black, 35 inches, and both dexterities are stocked exactly as they are on the model it shrinks. Every specification stored here matches the full-size version exactly, so the footprint is the only thing that changed.

Smaller mallets keep gaining ground, because a good number of golfers want a mallet's balance without a mallet's footprint. What you give up is a little forgiveness on strikes that miss the middle of the face. In return the address picture moves closer to a blade. A 009Z carries the zero-torque geometry in roughly this footprint, which is the other route to a head that does not want to turn. The Mini demands least of the eye.
