The C in Sycamore 001C marks a change in weight distribution rather than in outline. Sub 70 adds mass out in the toe of the head, which the company says helps players who put some arc in the stroke. A flow neck carries the shaft in. Milled 1045 carbon steel, black, one 35 inch length, right hand only.

Toe weighting on a blade is a quiet way of raising stability without widening the head, since mass at the extremity does more for resistance to twisting than mass near the centre. What it costs is a little of the compact look that draws people to blades in the first place. The 001 and 001 FN are the plainer versions. All three share the same milled billet and the same single length.
