A one piece forged game improvement iron is an unusual thing, and the 669 CB is exactly that. Sub 70 aims it at mid to mid-high handicaps, gives it the largest footprint of the three 669 models and a tungsten weight for draw bias, then forges the whole head from DT-4 steel. The 7-iron is 31 degrees, the set runs 4-PW, and both hands are built. Shafts come from the no upcharge list at order rather than a named default.

Forging and forgiveness usually fight. Sub 70's compromise is to keep the soft feel and add size rather than technology, which suits golfers who want help without a hollow head. The 669 TC and 669 MB above it both sit at 32 degrees for better players.
