Traditional lofts and a muscle back shape make the 649 MB TR Forged one of the least forgiving sets Sub 70 builds. The 7-iron is 34 degrees, the head is one piece forged DT-4 steel, and the set runs 4-PW in right hand only. There's no single stock shaft to quote, since Sub 70 lets the buyer pick from a long free list at the point of order instead of fitting everything to one default. Golf Pride's Tour Velvet 360 is the default grip.

TR stands apart from the 649 MB Tour that shares its loft and its forging. Between them the difference is finish and grip rather than geometry. Blades are a narrow product. Sub 70 treats them that way. Senior through X-stiff still covers the flex range, which is broader than most muscle backs bother with.
