About this club

Twenty-seven degrees is the strongest 7-iron in PXG's GEN 7 range, and the XP is built around it. The head is multi-material with a maraging steel face, filed as players distance rather than game improvement, and it comes 4-PW in either hand with flexes from ladies to X-stiff. There's no shaft or grip to quote. PXG assembles each set to order and publishes no default for either.

Three degrees stronger than the 0311P is a serious gap inside one generation. Golfers whose iron distances have flattened out will feel it immediately, though the wedges underneath need planning to match. The GEN 8 XP holds the same 27 degree loft in a game improvement shape. If the P feels a club short, this is the fix.
