Pitching wedge loft on an eight-iron length is a strange combination on paper, and the Desert Club is exactly that: a single 44 degree head, cast from 17-4 stainless steel, built for shots that do not fit anywhere else.

Nothing is stocked. PXG builds every one to order, so the shaft is chosen at purchase and the flex range covers ladies through X-stiff, under a PXG ICON Black grip in both hands. The name gives the intent away. This is a club for hardpan, waste areas and lies where a wedge sole digs and a hybrid runs through the back, and it does not pretend to belong in a normal set.
