About this club

Four hundred and fifty cubic centimetres puts the LST just under its siblings, and the gap matters more than it looks: 450 against 455 is Ping shaving footprint to pull spin down for faster swingers. It arrived late, in May 2019, several months behind the Plus and SFT. Ping's own account is that the first version failed to beat the G400 LST and went back for rework.

Two heads, 9 and 10.5, both with the movable back-weight and the eight-setting hosel. The shaft list is one shorter than its siblings get, missing the lightweight Alta Distanza, which suits a club aimed at players who generate their own speed. Cast titanium, forged T9S+ face, built in both hands.
