About this club

A one-piece forging in 1025 carbon steel, which by 2015 already made this an unusually traditional iron for Nike. No insert, no filled cavity, no second alloy behind the face. The head runs longer from heel to toe than a classic blade and shorter from sole to topline, the weight sits forward, and the grooves are milled, not stamped.

Lofts are traditional too. The 7 iron is 35 degrees, three weaker than the Vapor Speed's, and the set ships 3 through pitching wedge, eight clubs, on True Temper's Dynamic Gold, three flexes deep. A Tour Velvet grip finishes it, it came in both hands, and there's nothing on the club to adjust or configure. It's the simplest thing Nike made in the Vapor line and the one aimed at the smallest audience.
