About this club

A muscle back blade whose seven iron measures 34 degrees, about as traditional as Miura's lofts get and exactly what this shape asks for. Forged S20C out of Himeji, launched October 2019.

Its Pre-Built set runs 4-PW at 2,170 dollars, in stiff or extra stiff. Heads are 310 apiece, availability opening at the three. Do not confuse it with the MB-001, an older and different blade whose left handed Y-Grind version is the only part falling inside the last decade at all. Read the product page carefully, though. The body copy on the chrome listing describes a black finish that belongs to another version of the club entirely, and has evidently bled across from it.
