LA Golf sold this under one name in two entirely different shapes, an oversized blade and a rounded mid-mallet, which is worth establishing before shopping for one secondhand. The body is milled from 435 layers of carbon prepreg. A stainless steel Descending Loft insert in black PVD does the striking, and the hosel is steel.

Neck options depend on which shape gets chosen: the blade comes with a plumber's alone, while the mid-mallet adds a slant and a face balanced slant. Head weights run 350 or 390 grams as a blade and 360 or 400 as a mallet, set by tungsten pieces that LA Golf says must not be swapped after purchase. Lie is fixed at 71 degrees. Everything is black, grip included, and the carbon shows a pattern closer to Damascus steel than to a golf club.
