LA Golf Face ID 8-7 Driver

The name is not a loft. Eight and seven are the bulge and roll radii of the striking surface in inches, and because those are the smallest numbers in the range this is the most curved head LA Golf builds. It is fitted to players swinging above 135 miles per hour, which is a narrow and very fast audience.

Loft is not published as a single figure either, since the head sells across an adjustable band running roughly 2.5 to 5.5 degrees. A forged beta titanium cup is laser welded to a titanium aft body at 460cc. The hosel offers eight settings spanning three degrees in total, and a screw set into the sole behind the head arrives in several masses so swing weight can be set, though it never changes position. LA Golf's own A Series shafts cover five weights from 40 to 80 grams.
