The second generation moved to what Costco calls a carbon steel formula, never naming a grade, and stayed cast rather than switching to forging. Lofts do not move: 52, 56, 60. Milled face technology is the one piece of terminology Costco applies here.

The sole is a fixed moderate C shape, relieved a little toward heel and toe, with a neutral leading edge and no selector, so what arrives is what gets played. True Temper wedge flex shafts, right handed only. Costco's own name for the product runs all the way to Gen 2 High-Performance 3-piece Wedge Set. Pricing held at 169 dollars, matching the set it replaced, which leaves the change of material as the only real reason to prefer it over the older one.
