About this club

Nine lofts from 46 to 62 degree make this a full scoring set out of a single model, and Honma has cut down what usually comes next. Each loft is offered in two bounces and no more: 8 or 16 degree from the gap wedges through the sand lofts, 4 or 16 in the lob wedges. High or low, nothing between. Sole shape tracks the loft, an I profile in the stronger heads and a C or S higher up.

Sixteen degrees is a lot of bounce by any measure, and it's pointed at soft turf and a steep angle of attack; four is the opposite case, for firm ground and a shallow sweep. The head is cast from a soft stainless Honma calls HMSS, finished in copper. Shafts run from regular through stiff with a wedge flex on top. The No Plating version is the same wedge left raw, if you'd sooner watch a finish weather than keep it.
