About this club

Centre shafting does the same job to the ER8 that it does to the ER2, which is to say it strips the hang out. Ten degrees becomes zero. The shaft enters through the crown rather than up at the heel, and a mallet that suited a mild arc becomes one for a stroke that never opens the face at all, a bigger change than the small visual difference suggests. Address it and the sightline runs straight off the shaft.

The head is 370 grams at 33 and 34 inches and 355 at 35. Satin over 303 stainless, SweetFace milling, red and white TourTac, on a stepless KBS CT Tour with no bend in it. Right hand only. Anyone torn between this and the ER2cs is really choosing a footprint, not a stroke.
