Grip is what separates the two halves of Odyssey's Square 2 Square line. Tri-Hot models like this one take a Pistol Plus, which tapers the conventional way, where the Ai-Dual models take a Reverse Taper Oversize built the other way round. One leaves the hands alone. The other tries to quiet them.

Black in the name is doing literal work, because the standard Tri-Hot Jailbird comes in black or red and this one is black alone. Underneath that it's a high-MOI head on a Square 2 Square hosel, so the face stays square rather than opening and shutting, with the Ai-Dual White Hot insert behind it. Three lengths, and no other Tri-Hot in the range comes in a left-handed build. That alone will decide it for some people.
