Callaway Elyte X Hybrid

At 130cc the Elyte X is a big hybrid, and the loft card stretches to match at 18, 21, 25 and 29 degrees. Callaway builds it cast, with a 455 Carpenter steel face, keeping the hosel and the sole weight both live, exactly as the standard Elyte does.

Four shafts is one more than the standard model gets, Denali Charcoal in 60 and 70 with Mitsubishi's Vanquish 50 and Vanquish PL beneath them, in senior through X-stiff. Size is the real difference. A larger head shows more mass behind the ball and asks less of the strike, which is precisely why the loft range runs four degrees higher at the top than the standard Elyte's does.
