About this club

Every Elyte driver is built around a 460cc multi-material head with a titanium face, and this standard model is the one Callaway aims at the middle of the field. It's the full fitting package. Both the hosel and the weighting adjust, so loft, lie and shot bias can all be tuned after purchase rather than locked in at the register. Stock shafts are Project X's Denali Charcoal in 50 and 60 gram builds, with senior, regular, stiff and X-stiff on the card.

Heads come in 9, 10.5 and 12 degrees, which should cover most swing speeds off the shelf. Two siblings pull in opposite directions. For a smaller, lower-lofted look, the Triple Diamond runs a more compact 450cc shape in 8, 9 and 10.5 degree heads. The Max Fast trades the other way, down to a light Mitsubishi Vanquish PL 40 shaft with ladies flex added, so it's the pick for slower swings. Between those poles, the standard Elyte is the sensible first fitting.
