About this club

HL stands for high launch, and the shaft menu makes the case better than any description. KBS Max 80 in steel and Project X Denali Charcoal in graphite are both light, and the flexes stop at regular, running down through senior and ladies. The head is multi-material with a stainless steel face, the 7-iron is 30 degrees, and sets are a six club 5-PW in both hands.

That 30 degree loft is the tell. Standard Elyte irons go to 29 and the Elyte X to 28, so the HL is giving back yardage in exchange for height, which is exactly the trade a slower swing needs. Elyte Max Fast is the other option at this end, lighter still and graphite only. Choose HL if you want a conventional iron feel and Max Fast if weight is the bigger problem.
