Callaway Big Bertha Fairway Wood

Big Bertha is Callaway's forgiveness line, and this fairway wood is its most approachable form: a stainless steel cup face on a cast body, a triaxial carbon crown above it, the weight savings spent on making launch easy. Five heads run from 16 to 25 degrees, the 21 degree Heavenwood sitting between them, and head size steps down from 180cc at the 3-wood as loft climbs. Slower, smoother swings are the audience here.

Fitting stays simple by design. The 3-wood and 5-wood carry OptiFit hosels moving loft two degrees either way, the higher lofts are bonded, and the weighting is fixed across the range. Four RCH graphite shafts, from the 45 up to the 75, cover light, regular and stiff with a Callaway Universal grip as stock, and the 3, 5 and 7-woods come left-handed. The Big Bertha hybrid picks up where the 25 degree head stops.
