About this club

The 28 is the wide bodied blade of the 2021 Studio Stock line, and it hangs at a quarter, closer to balanced than the 17 or 18 of the same year. That puts it in the hands of a golfer whose stroke runs nearly straight, and the extra width behind the face gives more forgiveness than a traditional blade profile manages. The head runs 358 grams beneath a Diamond Blast finish.

Bettinardi built the 28 in three configurations that year. This is the standard one, with the centre shafted and armlock versions taking the same head in different directions, so the head shape is a constant and the setup is the variable. That is a useful way to shop if you already know the shape works for you.
