Ben Hogan BHB01 Putter

Hogan's first putter line in fifteen years opened with the BHB01, a plumber's neck blade forged from 1020C carbon steel in a multi step process and then milled flat across the face. Forging a putter is unusual, and it is the reason these feel softer at impact than a head milled from billet. The shape is traditional: modest offset, a compact blade, nothing on the topline asking for attention.

Toe hang is moderate, which puts it with players whose stroke arcs slightly and who want the toe releasing on its own. Half inch increments take length from 33 up to 36.5 inches, on a 355 gram head with two degrees of loft on it. Chrome and Diamond Black Metal are the finishes. Grips get picked at build from five, one of which is none at all. The BHB02 is the face balanced version if your stroke runs straighter.
