Mizuno M Craft X P5 Putter

P5 is the plumber's-necked mallet, the middle cell of Mizuno's three by three grid in both directions. Slight toe hang comes from the letter and a full mallet footprint comes from the number. If a fitter had to hand one M.Craft X to a golfer they'd never met, this would be a defensible choice, because it commits to nothing at either extreme.

Middle options make a poor story. Nothing about a mid-size head with a modest amount of hang is going to excite anyone reading a spec sheet, and yet it'll suit more golfers than the corners of the grid will, which is worth more than being interesting.
