About this club

Every DARKSPEED MAX head sits half a degree strong, at 15.5, 18.5 and 21.5 degrees, which is Cobra accounting for how much loft an adjustable hosel tends to add back. The head is 170cc, multi-material, with a 475 stainless steel face, and the sole weighting moves as well.

One shaft covers everything, UST Mamiya's LIN-Q M40X Red 5, offered from light flex up to X-stiff, which is a wider spread than one shaft usually supports. A Lamkin Crossline 360 finishes it. Within the 2024 line the X is the tidier head and the LS goes stronger still, down to 13 degrees, so the MAX is the one carrying the forgiveness brief and the one that asks least of the swing.
