About this club

Paradym X is the game improvement half of Callaway's 2023 Paradym pair, and the women's set is built on the same forged 455 stainless face with a 7-iron at 27.5 degrees. That loft is strong for a forgiving iron. The forged face is what makes it playable, and the club is aimed at players after a full-sized, easy-launching iron that also goes a long way, a 12 handicap and up.

The shaft is Aldila's Ascent PL Blue 40 in a hybrid and iron profile, ladies flex, and it's the only stock option. Seven clubs, and they come left-handed too, which is worth noting since left-handed women's irons are not a given. Compared with the standard Paradym, which runs a 29 degree 7-iron for a lower-handicap player, the X trades some shape and shot control for launch and distance. For most women moving up from a package set it's the right trade.
