Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke MAX Fairway Wood

If a fairway range can be judged by reach, the Paradym Ai Smoke MAX reaches a long way, with seven heads between 15 and 27 degrees. At 171cc it is compact for a model with MAX in the name, multi-material, with a C300 maraging steel face. The hosel adjusts; the weighting doesn't.

Two stock shafts do the work, Project X's Cypher 2.0 Black at the light end and Mitsubishi's Tensei AV Blue above it, in senior through X-stiff. That's a short rack for a seven-head range. What the 2024 Paradym still does well is answer the awkward gaps, the 20 and 24 degree heads most ranges skip, which is why bags built around it tend to carry fewer long irons.
