Callaway Mavrik Fairway Wood

Mavrik came back in 2022 as a simplified three-loft fairway, 15, 18 and 21 degrees, its hosel bonded and a single fixed weight in the sole. No adjustability at all, which for a lot of golfers is a relief. The 174cc 3-wood head pairs a C300 maraging steel face with a carbon crown, so the build is multi-material even though the concept is simple: pick a loft and go.

Light, regular and stiff flexes are stocked, and both hands get all three lofts, which is better lefty support than many current lines manage. Where it fits: someone after a familiar Callaway fairway shape and a steel-faced head that launches easily off the deck, and who has no interest in dialing lofts. The women's version shares the head with a 40 gram build.
